PET and APET
De ghnáth, our common transparent plastic packaging boxes are made of APET, and they are also widely used in beverage bottles and food cans.（Abbreviated as PET）
Manufacturers like it because it is strong, safe, transparent, and versatile. Customers like it because it’s safe, lightweight and 100% in-athchúrsáilte. The benefit of PET is that it doesn’t transfer any chemicals to the product it comes in contact with, so it’s an ideal solution for food products.
PET is a sound, ecological option because it is produced using 100% naturally occurring ingredients, while still providing excellent product clarity and printing finish.
RPET
RPET is PET plastic bottles, plastic cans, or plastic boxes that are recycled and reused after use. Full name (recycled PET).
However, RPET has extremely strict recycling standards and manufacturing standards, and it is not a simple classification and cleaning that can be reused.
RPET has strict recycling standards for the plastics used in the last consumption. The previous use scenarios and uses are the basic recycling standards. After returning to the processing plant, the production is strictly implemented in accordance with the Caighdeán Domhanda Athchúrsáilte (GRS) recycling system and standards.
The reprocessed RPET material can be fully tracked to the source of use, and the material produced according to the GRS production process meets the use standards of printing-grade plastic boxes and food packaging boxes.
ECOPET
As the name suggests, ECOPET is eco-friendly biodegradable PET plastic. Its appearance is no different from PET and RPET. The usage scenarios and purposes can also be completely equivalent.
The biggest difference is that ECOPET material can be completely degraded into compostable material under anaerobic condition
According to the ASTM D5511-18 test standard, the degradation rate of our ECOPET material within 45 days is 8.03%-8.98%. The time for 100% complete degradation is 500-560 laethanta.
PVC is polyvinyl chloride
PVC materials are widely used in the fields of blister packaging and circular plastic tube transparent packaging.
PVC material has good fire resistance and heat resistance. If your product is likely to be in a high-temperature environment, you can choose a packaging box made of PVC material.
Polapróipiléin (PP)
Polapróipiléin (PP) is a thermoplastic “addition polymer” made from the combination of propylene monomers. It is used in a variety of applications to include packaging for consumer products, plastic parts for various industries including the automotive industry, special devices like living hinges, and textiles.
In the packaging field, it is usually made of transparent PP material, frosted PP material and twill material
transparent PP material
Even the transparency of the fully transparent PP material can only reach about 85%. It is not as high as the commonly used PET material, but the material is soft and environmentally friendly, making it more popular in the field of infant products and cosmetics.
Matte PP material
The two sides of the transparent material are extruded by embossing dies to form fine particle surfaces, making it translucent visual and concave-convex feel.
It is one of the commonly used materials for folding plastic boxes
Twill PP material
For example, the process of frosted PP material is the same, the difference is that the twill PP material is smooth and transparent on one side, and the other side is 45° obviously raised and decorated with regular stripes.
Often used in stationery and gift plastic packaging boxes. Strong impact resistance and abrasion resistance.
